I am the operations manager for a DJ company. Several of our laptops have been skipping or freezing every 20-30 minutes. I've been here for 8 years, but this is the first time I've experienced it. Enough DJs have had this happen on enough different systems since the end of the 2023 wedding season, that I'm wondering if there is anything in Virtual DJ that could be causing it. It doesn't seem to be a mixer or speaker issue. It is either Virtual DJ or our laptops.
Is there any fix or solution that anybody could recommend? I want to get this taken care of before wedding season kicks into high gear. Thanks!

Yes, you basically have to figure out what starts up every 20 or 30 min on your laptop using/blocking resources, and disable it
A latency monitor may help you narrow it down
